Tomer Gardi is a writer. He was born in Kibbutz Dan in the Galilee. His debut »Stein, Papier« (tr. Stone, Paper) was published in Hebrew in 2011 and in German translation in 2013. In 2016 followed his next novel, »Broken German«. For »Eine runde Sache« (tr. A Well-Rounded Affair) he received the Leipzig Book Fair Prize in 2022. For »Liefern« (2026, tr. Delivery) he spent over three years researching on location in six cities. His work has received numerous prestigious grants. Gardi lives in Berlin.
