Tobias Sauter is a geoscientist specializing in climate research. He studied geosciences in Freiburg and Granada and completed his doctorate at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule in Aachen on the optimization and uncertainty analysis of non-linear prediction algorithms. He is a professor at the Department of Geography at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
