Thilo Krapp is an illustrator and comic author. He was born in Herdecke, and studied communication design in Wuppertal, with a focus on illustration. The 19th Century, its styles and historical events have interested him since childhood, which among other things has led to his adaptations of «The War of the Worlds» (2017) and «The Time Machine» (2026) by H.G. Wells and «20,000 Leagues under the Sea» by Jules Verne, all of which take place in that period. Krapp lives in Berlin.
