Sole Otero is a comic artist, children’s illustrator and textile designer. She earned her degree in textile design from the University of Buenos Aires. In 2015, she published her first book, «La pelusa de los días» (tr. The Fluff of Days), in Spain. Her graphic novel «Naftalina» (2020) won the Fnac-Salamandra prize in 2019 and the Prix du Public France TV in Angoulême in 2023, and received Eisner and Harvey Award nominations in 2025. Her book «Walicho» (tr. Witchcraft) received the Prix Prima Bula in 2024. She completed a residency at LCB Berlin. She lives in France.
