Biography
born in Rheydt in 1979, Sharmila Banerjee studied at the Cologne International School of Design and the Art Academy in Stockholm. She lives and works as a freelance illustrator in Berlin. She contributes comic memoirs of extraordinary women regularly to »Missy Magazine«. Her other works are published among others by Salmiak Comics, an independent company she runs with Martin Ernstsen. Banerjee is a member of the mini-comic distributor The Treasure Fleet.
