Sarah Reinke

born in 1972, schooled in History as well as in Slavic and American Studies (with a second degree in Supervision and Management Consultation). Her research travels have taken her to Russia, Poland and the United States. Since 2000 she has worked as a consultant in Eastern Europe and the Middle East for the Gesellschaft für bedrohte Völker (GfbV) in Göttingen, since 2008 is director of the GfbV-Hauptstadtbüros (parental leave) and has concerned herself with topics such as the state of Chechen refugees in Germany and the EU. Reinke lives in Berlin.
