Samian

was born in 1983 in the Algonkin Native Reserve Pikogan in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Samian does rap on the one hand to express his strong relation towards his ethnicity (in Algonkin and French) and on the other hand to present his previous life. 2004 he met the celebrated Québec based Hip-Hop-Group Loco Loccass who also campaign for the French language and the independent role of Québec in Canada. His first album » Face À Soi-même« was published in 2007. He lives and works in Québec.
