is a Assistant Professor in Afrikanistik at the University of Bayreuth specializing in, among others, Afrophone literatures, African youth languages in the diaspora, and critical African studies. He studied linguistics and English literature in Cameroon and African linguistics, literatures in African languages, and developmental sociology at the University of Bayreuth, where he earned his doctorate in 2012. He has been a visiting professor at universities in Congo, Tunisia, Mayotte and South Africa.
