Rebecca Horn

Rebecca Horn, born in Michelstadt in 1944, studied Philosophy and Art in Hamburg, and with a scholarship in London. The artistslived in New York in the 1970s, where the Fluxus movement was her inspiration for her creative work, a mixture of performances, films, sculptural installations in the space, drawings, and photo paintings. Horn’s projects were shown at the Guggenheim Museum in New York and other galleries, and repeatedly at the documenta. She received important art awards. Rebecca Horn lives in Berlin and Paris.
