Razia Karimi is a legal scholar and a poet with The Poetry Project. She is from Jaghori in Afghanistan’s Ghazni Province. There, she volunteered with the organization Volunteers for Peace, supporting families in need and children without parental care. Together with two friends, she founded a workshop for women’s handicrafts, which she hopes to relocate to Germany and develop internationally. In Berlin, she is a member of the artists’ collective «Khorshid», organizes cultural events, and volunteers with YAAR in support of the migrant community. Razia Karimi lives in Berlin.
