born in 1964 in Rio de Janeiro and raised in the USA, is a Brazilian writer and art historian. Two of his works deal with the life story of his great-grandfather Hugo Simon, which also led him to Berlin, where he has lived since 2012. Other works deal with the history of Brazilian art. In addition to his literary publications, he has also curated exhibitions, including at Somerset House, London.
