Rachel Trezise , was born in 1978 in Rhondda Valley, South Wales, studied at the universities of Glamorgan, Wales and Limerick in Ireland. The debut novel of the author and journalist, “In and out of the Goldfish Bowl”, was one of the winners of the highly regarded ‘Orange Future Awards’ 2001. Her following volume of short stories, “Fresh Apples” (2005), was awarded the Dylan Thomas Prize in 2006. The same year she accompanied the Rock band “Midasuno” on their tour. She documented that time in her book “Dial M For Merthyr” – half feature, half memorial – which is to appear in 2007. Currently, Trezise is working on her second novel “Sixteen Shades of Crazy”.
