Orit Gidali is an Israeli poet and picture book author. She studied psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and creative writing at Ben-Gurion University. In 2002, she co-founded »Sadnaot Habait« with writer Eshkol Nevo – Israel’s largest creative writing school, offering more than 100 courses at over 30 locations across the country each year. She received the Dvora Omer Prize in 2022 and a Fulbright fellowship at the University of Iowa’s International Writing Program in 2023.
