Ofer Waldman

Ofer Waldman, born in Jerusalem in 1979, first came to Germany in 1999 as a musician with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. Following his international career as a musician, he completed his Ph.D. in history and German Literature from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and the Free University of Berlin. Waldman is a speaker, writer, and author of features, radio plays, and columns on German-Israeli topics. In 2021, he won the Radio Play of the Year Award of the German ARD.
