Mimi Mondal

Mimi Mondal, born in 1987 in Calcutta, is a speculative fiction writer and editor. For her anthology of letters and essays on the influential science fiction author Octavia E. Butler, »Luminescent Threads« (2017), she received a Locus Award. Her stories and articles appeared in leading genre magazines such as Tor.com and »Strange Horizons«, as well as on the platform Juggernaut Books. She writes the column »Extraordinary Alien« for the »Hindustan Times«, and lives in New York City.
