Michael Hudson

born in 1939 in Chicago, Illinois, where he studied philology and history and wrote his doctoral thesis on the American economy during the 19th century. He currently teaches economics at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, is a Wall Street analyst and consultant, and is involved in the Occupy Wall Street movement. He was the first to accurately predict when the real estate market would collapse in the US.
