Melissa »Melz« Owusu

completed their studies in philosophy and political science at the University of Leeds and now works there as an education officer. At the Leeds campus, they started the »Why is My Curriculum White?« campaign. Owusu is also an artist and writes and performs grime music in their free time. In 2016, they participated in the protest campaign by black women at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London on the initiative of »gal-dem« magazine.
