Mehdi Moradpour

is an author, translator and interpreter. After studying physics and engineering in Iran, he devoted himself to sociology, Spanish, American and Arabic studies in Leipzig and Havana. He was selected by the Forum Text author support fund. His works earned him numerous prizes: Exile Dramatists’ Award (2016), Grabbe Prize (2017), eurodram Translation Award (2018). He currently works with Deutsche Oper Berlin, Maxim Gorki Theater, Münchner Kammerspiele and Schauspielhaus Vienna.
