Matilda Gyllenberg is a Finnish author, dramaturg, and journalist. She made her debut in 2019 with the novel »Det lungsjuka huset«. Her first children’s novel »Hundra dagar hemma« was published in 2022. It was adapted as a stage play, radio drama, and TV series, and received a prize from the Svenska Litteratursällskapet in 2023. In 2025, she published »Tusen timmar tystnad«, nominated for the Topelius Prize, as well as an essay in the anthology »Barnet och boken«. Since 2022, she has worked as a dramaturg at Svenska Yle, writing and editing scripts for radio and television dramas. She lives in Helsinki and Hong Kong.
