Marie Kilg is a journalist, product manager, and media consultant. She has developed bots for media organizations and universities and helped shape the German-language personality of Amazon’s Alexa. In 2017, she trained her first neural network; in 2022, she introduced the first non-human newspaper columnist to a print publication. She is a co-founder of the «Turing Agency», an artistic agency exploring the blurred boundaries between humans and machines and fostering public debate about artificial intelligence. As Chief AI Officer, she built Deutsche Welle’s central AI team. Together with Fritz Espenlaub and Gregor Schmalzried, she hosts «Der KI-Podcast», Germany’s most successful AI podcast, produced by ARD. Marie Kilg lives in Berlin.
