Marie Helene Zwicker

Marie Helene Zwicker, born in Mainz in 2003, is studying political science in Berlin. In 2025, her poems received awards at the National Competition for Young Poets and at the Young Authors’ Gathering. Her collection of poems, »nachspeisen«, explores whose violence and emotions still linger on the plate when one’s own life is about to begin. She is looking forward to hearing Han Kang, one of her favorite authors, read at the 26th ILB. Marie’s favorite food is tiramisu.
