Marie-Christine Knop was born in Nuremberg and is a moderator, communications consultant, and cultural manager. She has worked for the Goethe-Institut and the German Foreign Office in Mexico, and on Deutschlandjahr programs in Brazil, Mexico, and the USA. On TV she hosts «Quarks», and on stage she has appeared at, among others, «lit.COLOGNE», «Literatur Live», «lit.RUHR», and the «International Literature Festival Berlin», as well as at the Futurium and the «Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften». She is a founding member of the online book club «Aggro Pastell». Marie-Christine Knop lives in Berlin.
