Marie Bloching

Marie Bloching, born in 1996, is a German theater and film actress. After training at the renowned Otto Falckenberg School of the Performing Arts in Munich [2016–2020], she gained stage experience in various productions, including »Broken Brecht« [2021] and the performance »Etude for an Emergency« [2020] at the Münchner Kammerspiele. She rose to prominence with her role as Lia in the Amazon series »Die Discounter«, in which she has appeared since 2021. Her performance has been widely praised by both critics and audiences alike. The RTL+ series »Angemessen Angry« [2024, dir. Elsa van Damke], in which she plays the lead role, received three Grimme Awards in 2025 – among them in the Fiction category as well as for Marie Bloching’s outstanding acting performance. In the film »The Good Sister« [dir. Sarah Miro Fischer], which premiered at the 2025 Berlinale, she stars as the female lead, Rose.
