Marcel Prüfert

born in Berlin in 1968, he completed his art studies at the Berlin Weissensee School of Art and graduated with a Master’s in 2003. During his studies, an Erasmus/Socrates Scholarship allowed him to attend the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris for twelve months. He has exhibited in numerous group shows and co-organizes the project Stedefreund, an art space-in Berlin-Mitte founded in 2006 by 12 artists. Prüfert lives and works in Berlin.
