Llŷr Gwyn Lewis

hails originally from Cearnarfon in north-west Wales, and is now a lecturer in Welsh at Cardiff University. He has won a number of poetry competitions (Ogwen Valley Eisteddfod, National Eisteddfod). In 2014 he published his first volume of poetry, »Storm ar wyneb yr haul« (tr. Storm on the face of the sun), and his first volume of prose, »Rhyw Flodau Rhyfel« (tr. Some flowers of war), which was selected as one of six books for the Wales Literature Exchange’s bookcase feature for the year.
