Linn Penelope Rieger is a writer, moderator, and literary mediator. She teaches at the German Literature Institute Leipzig and is managing director of the literary magazine Edit and the network Lyrik e. V. With Josef Braun she hosts the podcast «Wasser und Buch» on literature, writing, and the literary world. She received the Retzhof Prize for young literature (2019) and the Eobanus Hessus Prize (2020). Her debut «Abraum, schilfern» appeared in 2022, followed by the essay «Zerbrochenes Feuer. Vulkane und das Ende der Welt» (2025). She is a board member of PEN Berlin and lives in Leipzig.
