Leonardo Tonus is a professor at the Sorbonne in Paris. He is considered one of the most renowned experts on contemporary Brazilian literature and has been awarded numerous prizes, including the »Chevalier des Palmes Académiques« (2014) and the »Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres« (2015) by the French government. He has also published numerous books on Brazilian literature.
