Kenan Khadaj

born in 1990 in Syria, studied economics there, but was forced to abandon his studies due to the political situation. He fled to Europe in 2014, and has lived in Berlin since 2015. The journalist and short story author has published journalistic texts and was involved in aid projects in Syria. Translations of his work have appeared in the »taz« and »stadtsprachen magazin«. He is also involved in the initiative »Neue Nachbarschaft Moabit«. He is currently working on his first novel.
