Jutta Deffner

studied area and environmental planning, and worked in research and in practice in Berlin, Stuttgart and Zürich. She has been conducting research on sustainable mobility and urban planning at the ISOE – The Institute for Social-Ecological Research – in Frankfurt am Main since 2005. In 2008 she completed her PhD, on city-dwellers’ styles of non-motorized mobility, at the TU Dortmund. Since 2010 she has headed the ISOE’s Mobility and Urban Spaces project.
