Josef Gaßner

born in 1966, studied Mathematics and Physics in Regensburg and Munich and completed his doctoral thesis there in theoretical astrophysics in 2008. In addition to his work as a freelancer and basic researcher at the LMU Munich and a lecturer at the university in Landshut, Gaßner authored text books and tries to make complex and complicated subjects accessible to a broad audience, e.g. on his YouTube channel »Urknall, Weltall und das Leben« (»The big bang, space and life«).
