Jorge Bucay

born in Buenos Aires in 1949, Bucay studied medicine and psychoanalysis. A practicing a psychotherapist, Bucay also writes novels, stories and children’s books. His works, which have been translated into many languages, include »Déjame que te cuente« (2002; »Let Me Tell You«). They are inspired by folk stories from around the world and deal with questions of life and meaning. Bucay is among the most popular authors in Latin America. He won the Premio Torrevieja in 2006.
