Johann Ulrich

founded Berlin-based avant publishers of comics and graphic novels in 2001. Ulrich is the winner of numerous prizes, including the Frankfurt book fair’s »Bester Comic«; he is five-time winner of the Max und Moritz-Preis and holds a number of ICOM awards – visible proof of the quality of the titles he publishes. He was honored as an Aventurier de la culture by the French culture ministry in 2008 for his outstanding contribution to a widely varied culture scene in Europe.
