Johann Braun, born in 1992, is a human geographer at the University of Heidelberg. He studied cultural geography, sociology, and journalism and completed his doctorate in 2022 at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg on right-wing urban politics in the past and present. He researches and teaches urban politics and spatial imaginaries of the far-right and has been a member of the research network »Territorialisierungen der radikalen Rechten, Terra R« since 2019.
