Jean Wyllys

born in 1974 in Bahia, is a Brazilian politician, author, and journalist. After studying literature and linguistics, he worked as a university lecturer. He published his reports in various books and newspapers. He is a member of the Partido Socialismo e Liberdade and was one of the first openly homosexual members of the Brazilian National Congress. After receiving death threats, he resigned as a congressman in 2019 and went into exile in Berlin.
