Jean-Philippe Kindler is a satirist and political thinker. His stage shows have received numerous awards, including the Prix Pantheon and the German Cabaret Award. He is a co-founder of the left-wing podcast collective Studio Rot and has worked as an advisor to Germany’s Left Party. In 2023, he published the SPIEGEL bestseller Screw Self-Love—Give Me Class Struggle. His debut novel, The Beginning Is Here and the End Is There, takes aim at Berlin’s political elite in the final three days leading up to Germany’s 2029 federal election. Jean-Philippe Kindler lives in Hamburg.
