Jason Oliver Bartsch

born in 1994 in Solingen, Germany, won the 2012 Postpoetry prize for up-and-coming poets. A Treffen Junger Autoren prizewinner in 2013 and 2015, he was long-listed for PEN’s 2014 international New Voices Award and is the current Poetry Slam national champion, which has led to spoken-word projects with Arte, WDR, SWR and the American Institute. In 2015 he won North Rhine-Westphalia’s sponsorship award for up-and-coming talent in literature. He lives and works in Bochum and Darmstadt.
