born in 1991 in Kiel, is a writer, columnist, editor, and co-editor of Delfi. Magazin für Neue Literatur. They contribute to publications such as Missy Magazine and taz. In 2019, Yaghoobifarah co-edited the essay collection »Eure Heimat ist unser Alptraum« [tr. Your Homeland is Our Nightmare]. This was followed by two novels – »Ministerium der Träume« [tr. Ministry of Dreams«, 2021] and »Schwindel« [tr. Vertigo, 2024] – as well as the column collection »Habibitus« (2023). They have been nominated for and awarded numerous prizes. »Ministerium der Träume« received the Audience Award of the Franz Tumler Literature Prize in 2021, and »Habibitus« was shortlisted for the Kurt Tucholsky Prize in 2023. Hengameh Yaghoobifarah lives in Berlin.
