Francis Fukuyama, born in Chicago in 1952, read political science at Harvard University. His bestseller »The End of History«, published in 1992, gained him international renown. Fukuyama is one of the most important political theorists of our time. He has taught at John Hopkins University, received the Johan Skytte Prize in 2015, and has published numerous books on U.S. politics. He is currently a professor of political science at Stanford University.
