Biography
Folker Skulima studied German and Romance Languages and Literature in Heidelberg and Barcelona. He worked in the film and theatre industry for several years, and moved to Westberlin in 1968, where he founded the Folker Skulima Gallery, which focused on the presentation of contemporary art by Andy Warhol, Cy Twombly, Edward Kienholz and on historical exhibitions of works created by Max Ernst and Hannah Höch. Collecting is Skulima’s passion. He owns a major collection of Dadaist art. Folker Skulima lives in Berlin.
