F. W. Bernstein
aka Fritz Weigle, born in Göppingen in 1938. He studied Art in Stuttgart and Berlin, and went on to work for the satire journals »pardon« and »Titanic«, was a co-founder of the »Neue Frankfurter Schule«, and a Professor for Cartoons and History of the Image at the HdK Berlin. The caricatura museum frankfurt has dedicated an major retrospective to the extensive and diversified work of the writer, poet, draftsman and illustrator in the spring of 2013. Bernstein lives in Berlin.
