Ena Katarina Haler is a Croatian writer, architect, and journalist. She holds a master’s degree in architecture and urban planning and has worked in the field of historic preservation. She also writes travel features and essays for a weekly magazine. Her debut novel, «Nadohvat» (2019), won two national literary awards, including Book of the Year. Her second novel, «Nevini», was published in 2024 and appeared in German in 2026 as «Die Schuldlosen» (translated by Klaus Detlev Olof). Since 2025, she has been a commentator on a political talk show on Croatian state television. Ena Katarina Haler lives in Zagreb.
