Patrice D. Douglass

is an assistant professor of gender and women’s studies at the University of California, Berkeley. She holds a doctorate in cultural studies, a master’s degree in ethics, and a bachelor’s degrees in feminist studies and law. Her research interests include black feminist theory, Afro-pessimism, gender and sexual violence, and philosophy of politics.
