Biography
born in 1983 in Indaiatuba, Brazil, is a writer and translator. Since 2017, he has been part of the editorial team of the literary magazine »alba.lateinamerika lesen«, which focuses on (yet unpublished) literatures from Latin America. In 2018, Pompeu earned a PhD in literary studies from the Institute for Latin American Studies at Freie Universität Berlin. He is currently working on two publications – the poetry collection »fiktionsbescheinigung. ein sachbericht» and the novel »Brasijien« – both set to be released in 2026. He also runs the blog »notas com picotes e grampo« (www.glaspo.tumblr.com). Pompeu lives in Berlin.
