Claudia Bruns

Claudia Bruns, born in 1969, has been Professor of Historical Anthropology and Gender Studies at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin since 2013. She studied history, German language and literature, philosophy, and education in Hamburg and Dublin, received her doctorate in 2004 with a thesis on male associations surrounding Hans Blüher, and was a research assistant and junior professor for the history of knowledge and gender studies.
