Christoph Stein

Christoph Stein has been the Director of the Department of Anesthesiology and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine at the Charité in Berlin since 1997. Since 2016, he is a member of the Einstein Center for Neurosciences Berlin. After completing medical school at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich from 1976 to 1982, he spent several years in the USA to perform research. He specializes in the areas of pain research and therapy, anesthesia, and opioid therapy.
