born in Girona in 1975, teaches Sociology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Rendueles has published works by Karl Marx, Walter Benjamin, Karl Polanyi and Jeremy Bentham and is a regular contributor to the news daily »El País«. His essay »Capitalismo canalla« was published in 2015, as was the German edition of »Sociofobia« (2013; »Sociophobia«).
