born in 1989, published »Poker« in 2011, the first novel of his debut trilogy, for which he received the Romanian Debut Prize, awarded annually by the Publishing House and the Association of Romanian Writers. In 2013 Cartea Românească published his poetry book, »O formă de adăpost primară« (tr: The Simplest Form of Shelter), and the second part of his trilogy, »Black Glass« (awarded The Young Prose Writer of The Year 2013). »Ultraviolență« (tr: Ultraviolence), the last volume of the trilogy, was published in 2017. The novel »Cât de aproape sunt ploile reci« (tr: How Close the Cold Rains Are) won the prize for the Best Book of Prose in Romania in 2021. His first children’s book, »Ziua în care Adam a devenit băiat bun« (tr: The Day Adam Became a Good Boy), was also published in 2021.
