Bianca Jagger was born in Managua, Nicaragua in 1950. She studied Political Science at the Paris Institute of Political Studies. In addition to a career as a model, Jagger became actively involved with the protection of human rights and global environmental issues, early on in her career. She founded the Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation, and is additionally a member and promoter of numerous NGOs. She has received numerous awards and honorary doctorates for her commitment to these issues and organizations. Jagger writes regularly for the »Huffington Post,« and she lives currently in London and New York.
