Bettina Blümner

born in 1975, studied media culture and design in Weimar, and directing in Ludwigsburg and Cuba. Blümner first gained acclaim with her short films. Her feature-length film »Prinzessinnenbad«, a documentary on the everyday lives of three girls living in Berlin, won the 2007 Dialogue en Perspective award at the Berlinale as well as the Deutscher Filmpreis in 2008. The director lives in Berlin.
