Bahadîn Akhan is a Kurdish poet, editor, and journalist. He is a member of «The Poetry Project» and is originally from Muş in northern Kurdistan. Since he was not permitted to teach in Turkey, he went on to work in publishing and journalism. In 2022, he won the poetry prize in the Arjen Arî Competition, and his poems have appeared in numerous literary magazines. He was forced to leave his country for political reasons.
